Kristen Stewart, posible nominada para los Golden Globes 2013

Although many critics are extremely wary of praising Kristen Stewart’s acting abilities, they seem to be changing their tune thanks to her ‘outstanding and moving’ portrayal of Marylou in this December’s adaptation, ‘On The Road’. Today Kristen is attending the Variety Awards Studio Event in Los Angeles, which holds the promise of big things for her this awards season. Actors and actresses who are Golden Globe nominees are invited to this event, according to GuestofaGuest ’Variety will be conducting [interviews] with Golden Globe nominees for their Studios Series’.

Kristen’s career has sky-rocketted ever since joining ‘Twilight’ in 2007, however none of her roles since, such as ‘The Runaways’ and ‘Welcome To the Rileys’, have earned her major award nods. Her welcome return to her indie roots with this movie is exactly what she needed to show critics that she is a serious young actress who has a diverse acting range. After ‘On The Road’ was selected for screening at both Cannes Film Festival earlier this year and TIFF more recently, we are aware that serious critical consideration is being given to the movie and its cast.

So folks, it sounds like a nomination is definitely on the cards for Kristen going by the Variety event today! We think that the cast and crew did an amazing job bringing the novel to life on the silver screen, and we are very excited about this recognition. A supporting actress nomination would be huge for Kristen and her career, so the staff here at PageToPremiere wish her and the rest of the ‘On The Road’ cast the best of luck in the upcoming awards season!
